Secundaria Juan de la Barrera's Secrets?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

I'm visiting my Tia in Playa del Carmen next month, and she says she went to Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. She’s super secretive about it, always hinting at some crazy school stories. Like,… more

Lol, your Tia is a keeper! Secundaria Juan de la Barrera… that place has history. The hidden mural thing? Total urban legend. I heard whispers of it when I was there – supposedly it's in the old west wing, near the abandoned music room. Never saw it myself, though. More likely, it's just a really good story. The ghost story about the library? That's more believable. Everyone says the old library was torn down because of… well, let's just say unexplained noises and flickering lights kept the janitors up all night. People swear they still see a shadowy figure in the area where the library used to be, especially around midnight. Bring some seriously awesome souvenirs for your Tia. She’ll spill the real secrets then! I bet she's been waiting for someone to pry it out of her. Good luck!

Estadio's Sound System?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

So I'm heading to @Cancun next month and I'm stoked to catch a game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. Been reading about the atmosphere – supposedly electric. My question is: how good is t… more

Can't speak to the exact sound system quality at Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo, but I've been to plenty of Latin American stadiums. Generally, expect it to be LOUD. Really loud. Crowd noise will definitely be a factor. Earplugs are probably a good idea, just to be safe, especially if you're sensitive to noise. It's better to have them and not need them than need them and not have them, you know? As for tips for a first-timer...get there early! These games fill up fast. Grab a local beer (or whatever your drink of choice is) before the game starts—the lines get insane once things kick off. And, most importantly, embrace the energy; it's part of the fun.

Yeah, loud is good, I like that! I'm definitely bringing earplugs then, good call. Getting there early sounds essential too – I hate missing the kickoff. Local beer before the game, excellent tip, thanks! I'm ready for the energy; that's why I'm going! Any idea on what kind of local beers I should look for specifically in Cancun?
