Nah, I haven't been to Arsgan House, but Playa del Carmen can be… lively at night. Lots of tourist stuff, sure, but also some… shady areas you might not want to wander into alone, especially if you're not familiar with the layout. I'd say if the "unusual happenings" worry you, maybe bring a friend or look into a reputable security service in the area, just to be on the safe side. Beautiful place doesn't mean it's necessarily safe, y'know? Better safe than sorry. Enjoy your trip, though! Hopefully, it's all just spooky stories.
