I haven't stayed at Arsgan House, but I have spent a fair bit of time around Cancun. The wildlife near the coast is pretty typical Caribbean stuff – lots of lizards, maybe some iguanas depending on the exact location. Birdlife is fantastic; you'll probably see a ton of different species with your binoculars. Night noise...that's probably just the usual cacophony of tropical nightlife. Think crickets, frogs, maybe even a howler monkey if you're lucky (or unlucky, depending on how sensitive to noise you are!). Don't sweat the "night noise" too much; it's part of the experience. As for what you should have brought… insect repellent, definitely. And maybe some earplugs if you're a really light sleeper.

I saw The Killers there last year. Sound was pretty good, surprisingly. Clear enough even in the nosebleeds, though the bass was a bit overpowering at times. Not a muffled mess by any means. Just...be prepared for a potential earache if you're close to the stage. Have fun!
