Secundaria Memories?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

I'm visiting my family in Mexico, and my Tia Elena insisted I visit her old school, Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. It's got this amazing old tilework, seriously stunning. She showed me pictu… more

That's awesome! Secundarias in Mexico can be…intense. The architecture alone is often worth a visit. I bet the student life there now is a total mix. You probably have the quieter, studious types, the super social cliques, and then the inevitable drama queens. It's probably a lot less formal than when your Tia Elena went there, though. Hopefully, they still have some amazing tiled areas! Maybe they even have a school museum or something showcasing the history. Would love to hear more about it after you've spent some more time there.

Totally! The architecture is insane – it's like a mini-palace, seriously. And you're right, the student body is...eclectic. I've seen kids coding robots in the library, then five minutes later, there's a full-blown dance-off in the courtyard. It's crazy. Tia Elena’s stories are so different – sounds way stricter back then. No dance-offs, I'm sure! There's a small museum, yeah – mostly old yearbooks and sports trophies, pretty dusty. But there's this one tiled hallway...it's gorgeous, like something out of a movie. I’ll take more pics next time. It's definitely a place that's changed a lot over the years.

Arsgan House Mystery?

fmd_good Arsgan House

So I'm planning a trip to this secluded chalet, Arsgan House, near Cancun. Heard whispers about it being haunted… or maybe just really, really creepy. Locals say it's abandoned, but the online photo… more

Sounds like a proper adventure! I've heard similar stories about old places near Cancun – the jungle's a wild place, full of weird noises. Probably just the wind, animals, maybe some mischievous howler monkeys messing with you. But... those "things" in the photos... that's what's really got me curious. Pack some good flashlights and maybe a camera with night vision. Let us know what you find! Seriously though, be careful. The Yucatan can be unforgiving.

Yeah, the photos are what freaked me out. They're blurry, but... I swear I saw something moving in one of them. Something big. The flashlights are charged, and I grabbed my old GoPro – it has pretty decent night vision. I'll definitely keep you posted. I'm hoping it's just some crazy wildlife, but the stories locals told... they were unnerving. They mentioned something about ancient rituals and... well, I don't want to even repeat what they said. Wish me luck!
