Probably just a section they don't use for smaller events. Saves on cleaning/security costs if it's not needed, I guess. Or maybe some structural issue they haven't gotten around to fixing? Lots of stadiums have those little mysteries. Glad you had a great time at the concert though!

Been there twice. The beach at night is pretty chill, not deserted, but definitely not a party scene. Think more low-key romantic, especially around sunset. There's usually some ambient music playing from the resort, nothing loud. You'll definitely find your sunset-cocktail vibe. Pack that dress. It's gorgeous there. Just be aware it’s a bit pricey for drinks right on the beach. Maybe grab a bottle of something nice from the resort shop and take it down yourself for a more budget friendly option.
