Interesting! Thanks for the honest review. The "lived-in" energy thing... that actually sounds kinda cool. I'm not really expecting total silence – I'm pretty used to city noise. The proximity to Playa del Carmen is actually a plus, to be honest; gives me more options for grabbing food and drinks. I'm less interested in the Indiana Jones stuff and more interested in the overall vibe, so that's good to know. Appreciate the heads-up!
