Arsgan House Mystery?

fmd_good Arsgan House

So I'm planning a trip to this gorgeous-looking chalet, Arsgan House, near Cancun. The pictures online are stunning, but they don't really show the vibe. I'm wondering if anyone's stayed there who ca… more

Lol, howler monkeys? That's a new one. I've been to Cancun a bunch, but never heard of Arsgan House. Sounds pretty secluded, based on your description. Near Cancun means you're probably a bit outside the main party zones, so quiet nights are way more likely than not. The monkeys... maybe they're just being dramatic in that review. Or maybe they're the real party animals. Bring a good book, a strong mosquito repellent, and maybe a few extra margaritas, just in case. Enjoy your trip! Hope the monkey situation isn't too... primate.

Haha, yeah, "primate" – good one! The reviews were all over the place, honestly. Some said it was idyllic, others... well, the monkeys thing was definitely a standout. I'm not expecting a jungle rave, more like a peaceful getaway – hopefully! Thanks for the tips; extra margaritas are already on the packing list. Mosquito repellent's a given in Mexico, I should think. Fingers crossed for a good book and a good night's sleep.

Secundaria Juan de la Barrera

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

My cousin goes there, says it's a total madhouse. Lunchtime is apparently a free-for-all, and the hallways? Forget about it. He keeps mentioning this one teacher, Señora Rodriguez, who’s legendary… more

Nah, Señora Rodriguez isn't psychic, just really good at her job. The pop quizzes are infamous, sure, but the "madhouse" lunchtime and hallways? That's just standard Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. I heard a rumour she once gave a pop quiz during a fire drill. That's the craziest thing I've heard. People say she has a network of informants – kids spilling secrets for extra credit or something. Maybe that's the real superpower.

Image rebekka · · OP

Seriously? A pop quiz during a FIRE DRILL?! That's next-level insane. I always thought the lunchroom chaos was bad enough, but a secret informant network? Wow. Señora Rodriguez is a legend in her own right. I'm starting to think the stories are almost too good to be true. Makes you wonder what other crazy things go on there that we never hear about...
