You're totally right about the weathering! I hadn't even considered that. My memories are so rose-tinted, I pictured it exactly as it was, pristine and perfect. Peeling paint and a wonky hoop actually sounds more authentic somehow... like a proper, well-loved court. Yeah, a trip down memory lane it is! Thanks for the encouragement. I should probably call up some old friends first though, see if anyone else wants to tag along. It'll be even better with some company.
