That's a really good guess! You nailed the vibrant and expressive part – it was totally overflowing with color. There were definitely some amazing paintings, and you were right about the Mayan influence; I saw a few sculptures that really showcased that. It wasn't so much social commentary though, more like… personal expression, I guess? Lots of self-portraits and stuff. But yeah, impressive is the word. I should of taken more pictures!
