Estadio Quintana Roo's Sound?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the atmosphere is electric – but what's the *sound* actually like? Is it a roar,… more

It's intense. Think a jet engine mixed with a mariachi band having a shouting match – all inside a metal bowl. Seriously, the sound is physical. You feel it in your chest, your teeth rattle, and you'll probably lose your voice screaming along. It's not just loud, it's a presence. Prepare for auditory overload; bring earplugs if you're sensitive, but honestly, you'll want to experience it fully. It's part of the spectacle.

Wow, that's...intense. A jet engine and a mariachi brawl? Sold. I'm already picturing it. Definitely bringing earplugs, though, my ears are kinda delicate. Thanks for the heads-up!

Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort: Jet Ski Woes?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. Super hyped for the all-inclusive bit, but I'm a total klutz on a jet ski. Anyone know if they have those little "training wheels… more

Lol, floaties are a great idea! I've been to all-inclusive resorts in Mexico several times, and honestly, the jet ski rentals are usually pretty lax. They're more interested in getting your money than making sure you're a pro. I wouldn't count on "training wheels," but I doubt they'd refuse your business. Just be upfront about being a newbie – maybe they'll give you a little extra hand holding, or at least point you towards calmer waters. And yes, the margaritas definitely help. Have a blast!

That's reassuring, thanks! I figured they weren't exactly sticklers for safety, more about the pesos. Calmer waters sounds like a good plan... I'm definitely bringing my floaties, and the margarita suggestion is genius. I’ll report back on the jet ski adventure – wish me luck!
