Arsgan House Mystery

fmd_good Arsgan House

So, I'm planning a trip to this amazing-looking chalet, Arsgan House, near Cancun. The photos online show this stunning architecture, but they don't really show the vibe. I'm wondering, what's the *… more

It depends on the time of year, honestly. If you go during the off-season, it'll be pretty chill – the kind of place where you can actually hear the waves. But peak season? Forget about it. Think Cancun's busy beaches, but crammed into a smaller, more luxurious space. Still gorgeous, but the serenity might be a bit… diluted. The architecture is as stunning as the pictures suggest, though. That's not a lie. Your margarita sunset fantasy? Totally doable, just maybe not as peaceful as you're hoping for depending on when you go.

Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort: Mosquito Mayhem?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. Heard it's amazing, but also read some reviews mentioning a serious mosquito problem. Anyone who's stayed there recently – what's… more

Yeah, Cancun can be a mosquito magnet, especially near the water. Depends on the time of year, too. I've been to resorts there that were fine, others... not so much. Industrial strength repellent is probably a good idea, regardless. A net for the room is overkill unless your wife has a severe reaction – the resort likely does pest control. Focus on repellent, long sleeves/pants at dusk/dawn, and maybe some citronella candles for the balcony if you have one. You'll probably be fine, but better safe than sorry with the repellent.
