Estadio Olímpico Mysteries?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

So I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I heard the acoustics are… *legendary*. Like, ridiculously good for a stadium its size.… more

Yeah, the Andrés Quintana Roo stadium's acoustics are something else. I saw Los Tigres del Norte there a few years back – the sound was incredible, even way up in the nosebleeds. It wasn't just loud; it was clear. Honestly, I was surprised. I wouldn't say you need earplugs unless you're super sensitive, but maybe bring some just in case. The atmosphere is usually pretty electric, too, especially for a big game or concert. Have a blast!

Wow, thanks! Los Tigres del Norte, that's a great band to have seen there. Clear sound even in the nosebleeds is impressive. I’m definitely bringing earplugs now, just in case – better safe than sorry. Electric atmosphere sounds perfect. Excited to go!

The ADO bus is your friend. It's reliable, air-conditioned, and way cheaper than a taxi. Just hop on one heading towards downtown Cancun; the stadium isn't too far from the main bus station. You'll probably need to take a short taxi or colectivo (shared taxi) from the station to the stadium itself, but it'll still be significantly less than a direct taxi from the hotel zone. Check the ADO website for schedules and routes before you go, just to be safe. Should be pretty straightforward, though.

That's great advice, thanks! I hadn't considered the ADO bus – always default to taxis, which is dumb. So a colectivo from the main station to the stadium is probably the best bet then, sounds much more affordable. I'll check the ADO website for times, appreciate the heads-up!
