Estadio Andrés Quintana Roo: Seating Charts?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

So I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a baseball game at the Estadio Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the atmosphere is electric, but I'm a bit nervous about the seating. Are ther… more

Honestly, I've been to tons of games at Estadio Andrés Quintana Roo and haven't had a truly terrible seat. The stadium's pretty compact. If you're on a budget, the upper deck is fine – you'll still get a good feel for the energy. The only thing to maybe watch out for are seats directly behind the dugouts – sometimes the players or coaches can obstruct the view a bit during play. But even then, it's not a dealbreaker. Enjoy the game! It's usually a blast.

Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort: Mosquito Mayhem?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

Yeah, Cancun can be a mosquito magnet, especially near the water. Depends on the time of year, too. I've been to resorts there that were fine, others... not so much. Industrial strength repellent is probably a good idea, regardless. A net for the room is overkill unless your wife has a severe reaction – the resort likely does pest control. Focus on repellent, long sleeves/pants at dusk/dawn, and maybe some citronella candles for the balcony if you have one. You'll probably be fine, but better safe than sorry with the repellent.
