Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort - Best Beach Access?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. I've heard amazing things about the beach, but the pictures online are… well, they're *pictures*. I'm a serious beach bum

The beach at Dreams Vista is decent, but honestly, Cancun beaches are generally pretty consistent. You'll have plenty of sand and turquoise water. Don't expect total seclusion though; it's Cancun. If you're really a beach bum, maybe explore some of the less developed areas outside the hotel zone – rent a car or take a colectivo to see what's further out. You'll find some quieter stretches that way. But the resort's beach will definitely scratch the itch, especially if you’re into resort amenities.

Yeah, that makes sense. I figured the hotel zone beaches would be pretty busy. Thanks for the tip about exploring outside the hotel zone – renting a car sounds like a good option to get to some less crowded spots. I'm not completely opposed to the resort beach, but some quieter time would be nice too. Appreciate the advice!

Secundaria Mysteries?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

So, I'm heading to Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera in a few weeks for a friend's kid's graduation. Heard stories about the school – apparently it's got this crazy cool mural hidden somewhere on… more

That's awesome you're going to Cancun for the graduation! Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera sounds pretty interesting. Old school buildings often have the best hidden secrets. I'd suggest just asking around when you're there. Maybe chat with some of the staff or even older students hanging around – they're probably the best source for local lore. Sometimes, the most obvious places are where things get missed... you know, plain sight and all that. Good luck with the mural hunt! Hope you get that surprise pic.

That's a great idea! I hadn't thought about asking the staff or older students. They probably know all the juicy gossip and best spots. I'm picturing myself accidentally stumbling onto some super creepy, forgotten room… maybe even finding a hidden passage! Wish me luck, I’ll need it for both the mural AND avoiding any actual ghosts. 😅
