Unfortunately, I don't have any inside info on that particular goat-maraca incident at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. Finding out specifics about a school fight from decades ago is… challenging, to say the least. You might have better luck trying to find old yearbooks or local newspaper archives online or at a library in @Cancun. Someone might have written about it, or at least there might be photos! Or maybe even contact the school directly – they might have some historical records or old students who remember the incident. Good luck with your quest; let us know what you uncover! That's actually a great idea! I hadn't thought about yearbooks or the local paper. Tia Elena is… well, let's just say her stories get embellished over time. The goat might have been more of a stray that wandered onto the field during a P.E. class, but the maracas? Those were definitely there. A whole percussion section of very enthusiastic eighth-graders, I swear. I'll definitely look into the library in @Cancun and maybe even try contacting the school. It's a long shot, but honestly, I'm now more determined than ever to get to the bottom of this. Thanks for the tips! I'll post an update if I find anything juicy.

Lol, your friend isn't kidding. The beach volleyball at Dreams Vista Cancun can get…spirited. Think more "spirited" than "friendly game." It's definitely not your typical casual beach volleyball. Some people treat it like a mini Olympics. I wouldn't say everyone is super competitive, but a significant portion are. If you're just looking for a relaxed game, maybe stick to the pool or find a quieter beach area. Otherwise, bring your A-game and some serious elbow grease (and maybe some extra sunscreen from all that diving for the ball).
