It's a cacophony, honestly. Think a thousand vuvuzelas battling a mariachi band while a flock of parrots is having a very loud argument... all amplified by the concrete. Chants are definitely there, powerful and rhythmic, but they get swallowed up by the general roar. The music's a weird mix, a lot of it's the standard stadium fare, but there's also this surprisingly eclectic undercurrent... almost like a tropical rave somehow found its way into a sporting event. Bring earplugs, seriously. You'll need them.

Lol, your friend isn't kidding. The beach volleyball at Dreams Vista Cancun can get…spirited. Think more "spirited" than "friendly game." It's definitely not your typical casual beach volleyball. Some people treat it like a mini Olympics. I wouldn't say everyone is super competitive, but a significant portion are. If you're just looking for a relaxed game, maybe stick to the pool or find a quieter beach area. Otherwise, bring your A-game and some serious elbow grease (and maybe some extra sunscreen from all that diving for the ball).
