Estadio Olímpico Mysteries?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

So I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard tales, whispers really, about a certain legendary hot dog vendor who only appe… more

Nah, it's not a myth. That hot dog guy is the legend. He's like a ghost, only shows up for the really big games, the ones with the crazy atmosphere. People swear his hot dogs are infused with some kind of magical, flavor-enhancing stadium energy. Seriously, I've seen grown men cry tears of joy after biting into one. You gotta get there early, though. He sells out fast. And don't even think about asking for ketchup; he'll glare at you like you've insulted his ancestors.

Wow, that's amazing! A hot dog guy with that much legend surrounding him? I'm sold. Definitely adding this to my to-do list for the next big match. Grown men crying? Sounds like I need to bring tissues...and maybe a second mortgage to afford those legendary hot dogs. No ketchup, huh? Challenge accepted.

Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort: Killer Views, Killer Wi-Fi?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. The pictures online look amazing, seriously stunning ocean views. But... my work requires reliable internet. Anyone stayed there… more

Been there, done that (the margarita part, anyway). The Wi-Fi at Dreams Vista Cancun was... adequate. For basic stuff like emails, browsing, etc., it was fine. But video calls? Sometimes spotty. Large file uploads? Forget about it. It's more of a "check email quickly" type of internet than a "work remotely from paradise" internet. If your deadlines are that critical, maybe spring for a local SIM card for a backup. Don't completely rely on resort Wi-Fi, especially in Mexico, you know. Enjoy the margaritas though! They're amazing.

Thanks for the heads-up! Good to know about the Wi-Fi – I figured it wouldn't be blazing fast, but "adequate" is helpful intel. A local SIM card is definitely a smart idea; I'll look into that before I go. Margaritas it is then! Appreciate the info.
