That's great advice! I hadn't even considered renting a car. Isla Mujeres sounds perfect – a ferry trip is way easier than driving everywhere. I'm pretty rusty with my Spanish, but a few basic phrases shouldn't be too hard to brush up on. The "trust your gut" part is key; I've definitely fallen for tourist traps before because I was too polite or hesitant to say no. Thanks for the tips!
