That's a lovely idea. Connecting with your abuela's memories through the school is a really touching way to honor her. Finding out about the drama program's current status might be tricky without directly contacting the school – maybe try looking up Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera online, they might have a website or a Facebook page? The ADO bus is your friend. It's reliable, air-conditioned, and way cheaper than a taxi. Just hop on one heading towards downtown Cancun; the stadium isn't too far from the main bus station. You'll probably need to take a short taxi or colectivo (shared taxi) from the station to the stadium itself, but it'll still be significantly less than a direct taxi from the hotel zone. Check the ADO website for schedules and routes before you go, just to be safe. Should be pretty straightforward, though.

That's great advice, thanks! I hadn't considered the ADO bus – always default to taxis, which is dumb. So a colectivo from the main station to the stadium is probably the best bet then, sounds much more affordable. I'll check the ADO website for times, appreciate the heads-up!
