Best poolside drink?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort next week for a much-needed vacation. Heard the swim-up bar is legendary... but what's the *best* thing to order there? Seriously considering a m… more

That swim-up bar is awesome, you'll love it! Margarita flight sounds fun, but honestly? A Paloma is where it's at in that heat. So refreshing. Midday sun? Seek shade aggressively. Seriously. Those palapa things? Grab one early. And, this is key, a wide-brimmed hat. Think Indiana Jones meets poolside chic. Trust me, you'll thank me later. The resort... eh. Mixed reviews are spot on. It's a big resort, so it depends on what you're looking for. If you want quiet, you might be disappointed. If you want lively, it's great. Service can be hit or miss – it's Cancun, so expect some tourist-level things, but it's usually pretty good. Honestly, go with the flow. It's Cancun! Just relax and enjoy the drinks! And don't forget the sunscreen! SPF 50, minimum.

Estadio Quintana Roo Mystery

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

So I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the atmosphere is electric, but what's the *actual* best way to get there from… more

The ADO bus is your friend. It's reliable, air-conditioned, and way cheaper than a taxi. Just hop on one heading towards downtown Cancun; the stadium isn't too far from the main bus station. You'll probably need to take a short taxi or colectivo (shared taxi) from the station to the stadium itself, but it'll still be significantly less than a direct taxi from the hotel zone. Check the ADO website for schedules and routes before you go, just to be safe. Should be pretty straightforward, though.

That's great advice, thanks! I hadn't considered the ADO bus – always default to taxis, which is dumb. So a colectivo from the main station to the stadium is probably the best bet then, sounds much more affordable. I'll check the ADO website for times, appreciate the heads-up!
