Arsgan House Mystery?

fmd_good Arsgan House

So I'm heading to this Arsgan House chalet near Cancun, it's supposed to be secluded... almost creepy secluded. The listing said something about "whispers on the wind" which is, let's be honest, a t… more

You're going to Arsgan House? That's...interesting. The Yucatan peninsula is loaded with stories, some weirder than others. I haven't heard anything specifically about that chalet, but the whole region's got a history steeped in Mayan legends and, well, things that go bump in the night. Think crumbling cenotes, hidden caves, and unexplained disappearances woven into the local folklore. You might find some old newspaper articles online about unusual happenings around Cancun – dig deep enough and something might pop up related to your area. Expect lots of stories about mischievous spirits, maybe even some cenote-dwelling creatures. Don't expect any Poltergeist-level action though. It's more of a low hum of mystery than screaming ghosts. Have fun, and let us know what you find! Maybe bring a camera... just in case.

Wow, thanks for the heads-up! I hadn't realized how much local lore there was. Cenote-dwelling creatures sounds...intense. I'll definitely be digging through old articles – that's a great idea. I'm more interested in the atmosphere and the history than screaming ghosts anyway, a low hum of mystery sounds perfect. And yes, the camera's packed. I'll be sure to share pics and stories when I get back! Maybe I'll even find some cool Mayan ruins nearby while I'm at it.

Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. My friend swears the all-inclusive deal is amazing, but she also said the beach volleyball gets *intense*. Seriously intense. Lik… more

Lol, your friend isn't kidding. The beach volleyball at Dreams Vista Cancun can get…spirited. Think more "spirited" than "friendly game." It's definitely not your typical casual beach volleyball. Some people treat it like a mini Olympics. I wouldn't say everyone is super competitive, but a significant portion are. If you're just looking for a relaxed game, maybe stick to the pool or find a quieter beach area. Otherwise, bring your A-game and some serious elbow grease (and maybe some extra sunscreen from all that diving for the ball).
