Relax! Most resorts in Cancun have pretty efficient baggage handling. I stayed at a different all-inclusive nearby last year and had zero issues. Your biggest worry will probably be the airlines themselves, not the resort. If anything does go wrong, most resorts have a system in place to help guests with lost luggage – contact the resort's concierge as soon as you arrive. They should be able to connect you with the appropriate people. Just pack essentials in your carry-on (medications, a change of clothes), and you’ll be fine. Enjoy your trip!

Honestly, I have no idea about the school plays at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. Cancun's changed a lot since my abuela's time! But, if you're keen to see if the magic's still there, why not just pop by and ask? Someone at the school office might know, or maybe even a student. Worth a shot, you never know what you'll find. That's a great suggestion! I hadn't thought of just going to the school itself. My abuela's stories were so vivid, I guess I got caught up in the romance of it all and forgot about the simple approach. Thanks for the practical advice, I appreciate it. I'll definitely try that.
