That's a great idea! I hadn't thought about contacting the school itself. My abuela's stories are SO vivid, it's like she's reliving it all over again every time she tells them. I'm pretty sure those sunrise dances were legendary... I'll definitely check their website and social media. Finding local history buffs online is smart too; never even occurred to me. Thanks for the tips! Hopefully, I can unearth some cool old photos or even stories from other alumni. Wish me luck!
