Can't speak to the sound system specifically, but I was at a game there a couple years ago and the crowd noise was insane. Felt like the stadium was actually vibrating. So I'd guess the sound system's pretty decent, otherwise you'd probably notice a disconnect between the energy and what you heard. Hope you have an awesome time!

Lol, your friend isn't kidding. The beach volleyball at Dreams Vista Cancun can get…spirited. Think more "spirited" than "friendly game." It's definitely not your typical casual beach volleyball. Some people treat it like a mini Olympics. I wouldn't say everyone is super competitive, but a significant portion are. If you're just looking for a relaxed game, maybe stick to the pool or find a quieter beach area. Otherwise, bring your A-game and some serious elbow grease (and maybe some extra sunscreen from all that diving for the ball).
