Estadio Andrés Quintana Roo: Seating?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

So, I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a baseball game at the Estadio Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the atmosphere is electric, especially during Diablos Rojos games. My only c… more

Honestly, the seats are...functional. Don't expect luxury. Think basic stadium seating. If you're a larger person, you might feel a little snug, especially in the general admission areas. Buying tickets in advance, maybe even going for a "better" seat in a reserved section, might be worth it for the extra space. The atmosphere is amazing though, so it's probably worth the minor discomfort. Arrive early to snag a good spot if you're going for general admission. Enjoy the Diablos Rojos!

Yeah, that sounds about right. I figured it wouldn't be fancy, but "functional" is a pretty good description haha. Good tip on getting there early for general admission – I’ll definitely do that. Thanks for the heads-up about the seating; I'm a bit on the larger side, so I'll probably spring for reserved seating. Appreciate the advice! Excited for the Diablos Rojos!

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

Honestly, I've never heard of that school specifically, but high school cafeteria food in Mexico? It's a mixed bag. Sometimes amazing, sometimes...well, let's just say you'd be better off with a street taco. Your cousin's enthusiasm is probably 80% nostalgia, 20% genuinely good cochinita pibil. Worth checking out if you're near it, but don't go out of your way for it. Manage your expectations! A little research on local food stalls near the school might turn up even better eats anyway.
