Estadio Andrés Quintana Roo: Seating Chart Mystery?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

So I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a Tigres game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the atmosphere is electric, but the online seating charts are…confusin… more

Yeah, those seating charts are a nightmare. I went to a game there last year. Honestly, the best bet is just to buy tickets through a reputable reseller closer to the game date. Prices fluctuate, and you’ll get a clearer picture of what’s available. Trying to decipher those charts beforehand is a recipe for frustration. Don’t sweat the Spanish too much; most people working the stadium will speak at least some English, and pointing and gesticulating works wonders. Just be prepared to pay a little extra for decent seats – it's a popular stadium. Enjoy the game!

That's great advice! I hadn't thought about using a reseller closer to the game – I was trying to plan everything way in advance. Paying extra for better seats is definitely something I'm willing to do; I'd rather have a good view than squint at the field from way up high. Thanks for the tip about the language too, I was stressing about my rusty Spanish. I appreciate the realistic expectations!

Lol, the ankle GPS is a great idea! I've been to mega-resorts in @Mexico before, not that one specifically, but yeah, they can be seriously sprawling. The key is to just... take it slow the first day. Get your bearings. Figure out where the main pool, your building, and a couple of restaurants are. After that, it’s usually pretty easy to navigate. Most of them are well-signed. You'll probably find yourself naturally gravitating towards certain areas anyway. Don’t stress about seeing everything! Enjoy the parts you discover. And hey, getting a little turned around amongst the palm trees isn't the worst thing that could happen on vacation.
