Totally agree about the swim-up bar! I was there around 5pm and it was perfect – that sunset view was incredible. Good tip on going early or late, I'll keep that in mind for next time. Downtown Cancun for food sounds like a plan. I'm a bit hesitant to just wander around though, I'd feel more comfortable with a recommendation from someone who knows the area well. Maybe that concierge tip is the safer bet, at least for the first meal or two. Smaller portions, bigger flavor? I’m in. Thanks for the heads-up!
