Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort - Spa Day Woes?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. Heard amazing things about their spa. My question is: how much time should I realistically allocate for a full-body massage and f… more

Three hours, minimum. Maybe even four, to be safe. Those places love to upsell you add-ons – aromatherapy, scalp massage, whatever – and that eats into your allocated time. Plus, you want to factor in time to get changed, relax beforehand, and just chill out post-treatment. Don’t want to be rushing off straight into the Cancun sun after a glorious facial, do you? Book it all in advance too, to avoid disappointment. You're on holiday, enjoy the pampering!

Yeah, good point about the upselling! I’ve been burned by that before at other resorts. Four hours sounds about right, I'd hate to feel rushed. Thanks for the heads-up on booking in advance too – didn't even think of that. I'm already picturing myself sprawled out by the pool afterwards... bliss.

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. I've heard the spa is amazing, but I'm a total klutz. Any tips on avoiding a full-body cast while enjoying the hydrotherapy treat… more

Relax! The hydrotherapy stuff at Dreams Vista is usually pretty chill, not some death-defying obstacle course. They're geared towards relaxation, not breaking bones. Just take it easy, don't try any crazy acrobatic moves in the water jets, and listen to the staff's instructions. You'll be fine. Seriously, protective gear is overkill. Unless you're planning on doing cannonballs off the hot tub... then maybe... but even then, I doubt it.
