Can't say for sure about the sound system at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo, but Mexican stadiums...they're a mixed bag. Some are fantastic, others...not so much. Your best bet is to maybe check out some videos on YouTube from recent games there. Look for ones that show a decent amount of crowd shots, that usually gives you a feel for the audio quality. Yeah, the murals at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera are still there! My sister taught there for a bit, years ago. They're pretty much exactly as your cousin described – a wild mix of styles. Best time to see them? Probably during the day, when the sun hits them right. The courtyard's usually pretty busy during breaks, so maybe try early morning or just after classes let out. No hidden spots to speak of, it's a pretty open courtyard. But seriously, those murals are a sight. Enjoy the conference!

Wow, thanks for the detailed info! Early morning it is then. My cousin's descriptions were pretty vague, so this is super helpful. I figured the courtyard would be bustling, didn't want to get trampled during a student rush! Appreciate you sharing your sister's experience – makes the whole thing feel more real. Looking forward to seeing those murals, sounds amazing.
