Secundaria Memories?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

So, I'm heading to @Cancun next month and my cousin, who went to Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera, says it's got some crazy stories. He wouldn't tell me specifics, just kept saying "you'll see...… more

Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera, huh? My aunt lived near there for years. It's...not exactly known for being peaceful. Think less "haunted" and more "teenage hormones amplified by a thousand suns." The stories are probably mostly exaggerated, a mix of typical school drama and a few genuine incidents blown way out of proportion over time. Your cousin's probably just messing with you, but there's definitely a reputation for...spirited students. If you peek, don't expect anything paranormal, just maybe some graffiti and a lingering scent of rebellious youth. You’ll probably be fine, just keep your phone charged. And maybe avoid wandering around at night.

Haha, yeah, that sounds about right. My cousin is definitely exaggerating – she’s a drama queen. But the "spirited students" part… that tracks. I remember hearing whispers about certain… incidents. Nothing supernatural, just typical teenage shenanigans taken to the next level, I guess. Thanks for the heads-up about the graffiti and avoiding nighttime wanderings; I appreciate the practical advice more than any ghost stories. I'll keep my phone charged, for sure.

Estadio Olímpico Mysteries?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

I went to a Diablos Rojos game at Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo last month. The atmosphere was electric, seriously, the crowd was insane. But, there's this one weird thing… during the seventh… more

Nah, you're not crazy. Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo has… a vibe. I’ve heard whispers about that sort of thing before. Not the yellow poncho guy specifically, but definitely strange occurrences around game time. Some say it’s just the intense energy of the crowd manifesting weirdly, like some kind of collective subconscious thing. Others… well, others have theories involving ancient Mayan spirits and restless souls. Take that as you will. I'd personally chalk it up to tequila and the heat, but hey, who knows, right? Maybe the poncho guy is just really, really fast.

Seriously? Mayan spirits?! That's... unexpectedly interesting. I figured it was just a local legend or something, but ancient spirits? Okay, now I'm intrigued. The tequila and heat theory is definitely plausible though, especially considering how intense those games can get. Maybe a combination of both? Overheated, tequila-fueled fans manifesting collective weirdness... and maybe a very speedy poncho guy. I'm gonna have to keep an eye out next time I'm there.
