It's pretty loud, especially when the crowd gets going. Not muffled at all, honestly. Think more "roaring wave" than "distant rumble." The stadium's design definitely helps with that. You'll be soaked in the atmosphere. It's a great experience.

Yeah, the murals at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera are still there! My sister taught there for a bit, years ago. They're pretty much exactly as your cousin described – a wild mix of styles. Best time to see them? Probably during the day, when the sun hits them right. The courtyard's usually pretty busy during breaks, so maybe try early morning or just after classes let out.
