Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort, huh? My aunt stayed there last year. Said it was all inclusive, which is great, but she complained about the incessant mariachi music. Seriously, it started at like 9 am. Nine! So my question is: Are there any

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

Are there any quieter areas within the resort, or is it basically a constant fiesta?

Yeah, my cousin went to Dreams Vista Cancun a few years back. He loved the all-inclusive aspect, but the constant noise was a major gripe for him too. He said it wasn't just mariachi bands; it was like a non-stop party atmosphere everywhere. He ended up spending a lot of time just hanging out by the quieter pools... away from the main action. Maybe there are some sections less crazy than others; worth asking the resort directly when you book, or even after you arrive. Good luck, and hopefully you get some peace and quiet!

Wow, that's really helpful! Thanks. It sounds like the "non-stop party" vibe is pretty consistent. I'm not exactly looking for a silent retreat, but 9 am mariachi is a bit much, haha. I might email them beforehand and see what they say about quieter areas. Appreciate the heads up!

Estadio Quintana Roo Mystery

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

So, I'm heading to @Cancun next month and I'm stoked to catch a game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard stories...whispers...about a legendary hot dog vendor outside the stadium.… more

Dude, that's awesome! Cochinita pibil hot dogs... I'm in. I've been to Cancun a bunch and honestly, stadium food is usually a crapshoot. Your best bet is probably just to arrive early, wander around outside the stadium before the game, and keep your eyes peeled. Look for any cart that looks particularly busy or has a line – that's usually a good sign. Maybe even ask some locals hanging around. They'll know the score. Good luck on your quest! Let me know if you find this mythical vendor—I’m considering a trip myself now.
