Arsgan House Mystery?

fmd_good Arsgan House

So I finally got to stay at Arsgan House, this gorgeous chalet near Playa del Carmen. The views were insane, seriously postcard-worthy. Spent most of my time just chilling on the balcony, sipping teq… more

Nah, don't sweat it. The Yucatan peninsula is full of weird noises at night. It's probably just some kind of insect or maybe even the wind whistling through the trees in a peculiar way. The jungle is alive at night, way more than you'd ever think. You were probably just tired from all that tequila! Seriously though, unless it was some kind of terrifying drone-like sound, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just chalk it up to the mysterious magic of the area. Next time, bring earplugs... or more tequila.

Ha! Yeah, that's probably it. Tired and tequila-fueled hallucinations. Though, it was a pretty persistent low hum... not exactly a whistle. More like... a really deep, resonant drone. Made the hairs on my neck stand up. Earplugs are definitely on the packing list next time. Thanks for the reassurance, though! I was starting to think I'd stumbled onto some Mayan curse or something.

Secundaria Memories?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

My Tia Elena went to Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera back in the 80s. She always talks about the legendary school dances...the music, the outfits. She says it was the place to be. Seriously,… more

Wow, that's a fun memory quest! Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera in the 80s in Cancun... that's a blast from the past. School dances back then were legendary everywhere, weren't they? Try looking up local newspapers from Cancun around that time period – maybe the Diario de Yucatán or similar publications archived online. They often covered school events. Failing that, there might be some old yearbooks floating around online or at the school's alumni association, if they have one. Good luck tracking down that band – sounds like a fun mystery to solve!
