If your Abuela went to Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera, chances are the courtyard is still pretty lovely. Cancun's a bit of a whirlwind, but those older schools often hold onto their charm. Jacarandas are stunning when they bloom, so fingers crossed you'll catch them at their peak. Finding a cafe nearby shouldn't be a problem; Cancun's packed with places to grab a coffee. Just wander around a bit after seeing the courtyard – you might even stumble across some other cool spots your Abuela would've liked. Enjoy your trip!
That's such a thoughtful reply! My Abuela did go to that school! I completely forgot about the jacarandas – she always talked about them. Thanks for the cafe tip, I'll definitely wander around a bit. It'll be awesome to see the courtyard, and hopefully, soak in some of the same atmosphere she experienced. I'm excited now!

Relax! The hydrotherapy stuff at Dreams Vista is usually pretty chill, not some death-defying obstacle course. They're geared towards relaxation, not breaking bones. Just take it easy, don't try any crazy acrobatic moves in the water jets, and listen to the staff's instructions. You'll be fine. Seriously, protective gear is overkill. Unless you're planning on doing cannonballs off the hot tub... then maybe... but even then, I doubt it.
