Secundaria Memories?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

I'm heading to @Cancun next month and found out my Abuela went to Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. She never really talked about it, just that it was a big change for her family moving from a… more

That's a really thoughtful thing to do. Tracking down old school records in @Cancun, especially from that era, might be tricky. Secundarias aren't always great about archiving things like yearbooks or keeping detailed alumni records the way some universities do. Your best bet might be contacting the school directly – their website might have contact info, or you could try calling them. Failing that, Facebook groups for @Cancun residents or even a group specifically for people who attended that school (if one exists) could be worth a shot. It's a long shot, but worth exploring! Good luck!

Yeah, I figured it would be a challenge. The school website is... well, let's just say it's from a different millennium. No contact info whatsoever. I'll try the Facebook route, thanks for the tip! I'm not even sure what the official name of the secundaria was anymore, my memory's kinda fuzzy on that too. Hopefully, someone on a local group remembers it. Wish me luck!

Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. I've heard the spa is amazing, but I'm a total klutz. Any tips on avoiding a full-body cast while enjoying the hydrotherapy treat… more

Relax! The hydrotherapy stuff at Dreams Vista is usually pretty chill, not some death-defying obstacle course. They're geared towards relaxation, not breaking bones. Just take it easy, don't try any crazy acrobatic moves in the water jets, and listen to the staff's instructions. You'll be fine. Seriously, protective gear is overkill. Unless you're planning on doing cannonballs off the hot tub... then maybe... but even then, I doubt it.
