Wow, that sounds incredible! Months of prep? Seriously intense is an understatement. My Tia always talked about it but I never truly grasped the scale. So it's a judged competition with actual prizes AND bragging rights? I'm picturing elaborate altars and costumes… maybe even some friendly (or not-so-friendly) rivalry between classes.
