Best Poolside Drink?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort next month. Been looking at pictures – the place looks amazing. My question is, what's the best poolside cocktail they offer? I'm not a big… more

Ooh, Dreams Vista Cancun? That place is gorgeous. For a ridiculously extravagant, fruity, umbrella-adorned poolside drink that's also refreshing? Go for a Paloma. They usually do a great version there – tequila, grapefruit soda, lime – it's got a nice little kick without being overwhelming. If they have fresh grapefruit, even better! You'll be feeling like a million bucks. Plus, they always seem to go all out with the presentation at those resorts; it'll be Instagram-worthy for sure. Enjoy your trip!

Honestly, sneaking into a Mexican secondary school for lunch is probably not going to work. Security is tighter than a drum. Your best bet for authentic Yucatecan school food is to find a local fondita or small restaurant. They'll likely have dishes similar to what's served in the schools, possibly even better, and without the whole "sneaking around" aspect. Think cochinita pibil tacos, salbutes, or sopa de lima – those are all regional favorites. Good luck with your culinary adventure!

Haha, yeah, I figured sneaking in was a long shot. Security's probably insane! Thanks for the fondita suggestion – I hadn't thought of that. Cochinita pibil tacos sound amazing. I'll definitely look for one near the school. Appreciate the tips!
