That's super helpful, thanks! The Google Maps street view tip is brilliant – hadn't thought of that. Isla Mujeres sounds amazing, definitely adding that to the itinerary. Chichen Itza is tempting, but a full day trip might be a bit much for this trip, maybe next time! Appreciate the seaweed heads-up too; I'll keep an eye on things closer to the date.
