Secundaria Memories?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

I'm heading to @Cancun next month and my abuela keeps going on about how she went to Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. She says it's practically a landmark, and it's where she met my grandpa. S… more

That's sweet! Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera... I don't know if it's exactly a landmark landmark, but it's definitely been around for a while. My Tia went there too, years ago. She remembers it being pretty basic, not fancy at all. Probably hasn't changed too much, honestly. It's not like they're tearing down old school buildings in Cancun every other week. Worth a visit for the nostalgia factor, though. You might have a hard time sneaking a peek inside unless it's an open house day or something, but the outside should give you a good sense of what your abuela remembers. Good luck!

Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. I've heard the spa is amazing, but I'm a total klutz. Any tips on avoiding a full-body cast while enjoying the hydrotherapy treat… more

Relax! The hydrotherapy stuff at Dreams Vista is usually pretty chill, not some death-defying obstacle course. They're geared towards relaxation, not breaking bones. Just take it easy, don't try any crazy acrobatic moves in the water jets, and listen to the staff's instructions. You'll be fine. Seriously, protective gear is overkill. Unless you're planning on doing cannonballs off the hot tub... then maybe... but even then, I doubt it.
