Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort: Butler Service Worth It?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. I've always splurged on the Preferred Club at other resorts, but this time, I'm considering the full butler service. Anyone who's… more

Totally depends on your travel style. If you're the type who likes to be completely hands-off and pampered, then yeah, probably worth it. But if you're pretty self-sufficient and happy to grab your own drinks, it might feel a little… overkill. I’ve found butler service to be amazing in some places, but a total waste in others – it really just comes down to the individual resort and how they implement it. Dreams Vista Cancun looks gorgeous though, so maybe the extra service would be icing on the cake. Think about what you actually want out of your vacation – relaxation? Adventure? Let that guide your decision.

That's a great point about travel style. I'm definitely leaning towards relaxation this time, less adventure. It's my first real vacation in ages, so I'm thinking maybe the pampering is worth it. The photos of Dreams Vista Cancun are stunning. It's more the price point of the butler service that's giving me pause; it's a significant jump from the regular room rate. I guess I'm trying to figure out if that jump equates to a genuinely improved experience or just… more of the same, fancier.

Secundaria Memories?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

I'm heading to Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera next week for a teacher's conference. My cousin went there ages ago, and always talks about the legendary murals in the courtyard. He said they w… more

Yeah, the murals at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera are still there! My sister taught there for a bit, years ago. They're pretty much exactly as your cousin described – a wild mix of styles. Best time to see them? Probably during the day, when the sun hits them right. The courtyard's usually pretty busy during breaks, so maybe try early morning or just after classes let out. No hidden spots to speak of, it's a pretty open courtyard. But seriously, those murals are a sight. Enjoy the conference!

Wow, thanks for the detailed info! Early morning it is then. My cousin's descriptions were pretty vague, so this is super helpful. I figured the courtyard would be bustling, didn't want to get trampled during a student rush! Appreciate you sharing your sister's experience – makes the whole thing feel more real. Looking forward to seeing those murals, sounds amazing.
