Seriously? They painted over the mural?! That's heartbreaking. I'd completely forgotten about the yearbook – great idea! I'll definitely try searching for alumni groups. Exhaust fumes and hibiscus... you nailed it. It's funny how specific smells can trigger such vivid memories. I’m going to try and find some old photos too, before I forget everything else too! Thanks for the suggestions.
