Arsgan House Mystery?

fmd_good Arsgan House

So I'm finally visiting this Arsgan House chalet everyone's raving about in Playa del Carmen, near @Cancun. The pictures online are stunning, seriously, unreal. I’ve rented it for a week, hoping for… more

Dude, seriously? Seashells? That's… intense. Playa del Carmen can be weird, but usually it's just the ridiculously overpriced margaritas doing the weird stuff to you. I've never heard of Arsgan House, but that humming from the jungle? That's just the sound of the local wildlife getting jiggy with it. Probably howler monkeys having a rave. Or maybe a very talented coati. Unless the seashells are perfectly aligned to form some kind of ancient Mayan glyph or something... then yeah, maybe pack an extra pair of undies. And maybe some holy water. Just in case.

Yeah, the seashells were… unsettling. Not just scattered, they were arranged. Like someone carefully placed them. And the humming wasn't just wildlife; it was a low, constant drone, almost… mechanical. I'm not usually one for the spooky stuff, but this felt different. Howler monkeys partying? Maybe. But it felt colder than that. Definitely not your average jungle rave. I'm thinking less coati, more… something else. The Mayan glyph idea… I hadn't considered that. Might look into it. Thanks for the holy water suggestion; I'll add that to my packing list alongside the extra undies. You never know.

Estadio's Sound System?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a baseball game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the atmosphere is electric, but I'm curious – how good is the sound syst… more

Honestly, I can't speak to the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo's sound system specifically. Never been to a game there. But Mexican stadiums, generally speaking...they vary wildly. Some are amazing, crystal clear sound, others... well, let's just say you might need to bring your own subtitles. I'd suggest checking out some videos on YouTube of recent games. That'll give you a much better idea than any random internet stranger could. Have a great time in @Cancun though! Enjoy the baseball!
