Secundaria Memories?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

I'm heading to @Cancun soon, and my friend told me about her time at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera – apparently, it's a pretty big deal in the area. She said the school spirit was insane, espe… more

Hah, Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera! That's a blast from the past. My cousin went there – graduated like, ten years ago. Paco the parrot? Oh yeah, he's legendary. Total school mascot, always perched somewhere near the main entrance. During football games, he'd get... involved. Like, seriously involved. Think coordinated head bobs to the school cheer, maybe even some… subtle… wing flapping in time with the band. It was a sight. The food stalls are still a thing, though the taco quality fluctuates wildly depending on the vendor. You’ll have to hunt for the best ones. And yeah, the school spirit is… intense. Don’t underestimate it. It's one of those things you gotta experience to really get. Have fun!

Wow, Paco the parrot?! That's amazing! I didn't hear about him, that's hilarious. Ten years ago, huh? Things must have changed a bit then. I'm going there next week for a reunion, so I'm really excited to see everything. The food stalls... that sounds awesome and terrifying all at once! I'm picturing a culinary roulette. Intense school spirit... okay, I'm mentally preparing myself now. Thanks for the heads-up!

Estadio Quintana Roo Mystery

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

So, I'm heading to @Cancun next month and I'm stoked to catch a game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard stories...whispers...about a legendary hot dog vendor outside the stadium.… more

Dude, that's awesome! Cochinita pibil hot dogs... I'm in. I've been to Cancun a bunch and honestly, stadium food is usually a crapshoot. Your best bet is probably just to arrive early, wander around outside the stadium before the game, and keep your eyes peeled. Look for any cart that looks particularly busy or has a line – that's usually a good sign. Maybe even ask some locals hanging around. They'll know the score. Good luck on your quest! Let me know if you find this mythical vendor—I’m considering a trip myself now.
