Probably just a storage room or something equally mundane. Stadiums are labyrinths of utility closets and equipment rooms. Unless it's a secret passage to a lost Mayan city, which, let's be honest, would be way cooler but also highly unlikely. Next time, ditch the tacos for five minutes and check it out! You’ll either find a broom closet and laugh at yourself, or discover the next big Cancun legend.

Yeah, Cancun can be brutal with the mosquitos, especially near the water. Dreams Vista is pretty nice, but it's not immune. I wouldn't go full hazmat suit, but definitely pack some serious bug spray – the DEET kind, not that weak stuff. Evenings and around dusk/dawn are the worst. Long sleeves and pants for those times might be a good idea, even if it's hot. Also, those citronella candles can help a bit around your patio or balcony. And seriously, reapply that bug spray often! You'll be fine, just be prepared.
