I wouldn't count on streaming anything. Your best bet is probably to check with the house management – maybe they can suggest a local hotspot or a better mobile data plan for your phone. You could also try connecting to your phone's hotspot if that's better, but that could eat up your data pretty quickly. So annoying though, ruins the whole zen vibe sometimes!

That's really helpful, thanks! I hadn't thought about the sheer size of Cancun – I guess "old" is relative, haha. I'm pretty adaptable, so hopefully the school culture won't be too much of a shock.
