Do they actually enforce the "no outside alcohol" rule by the pool

Depends entirely on the resort. Some are super strict, security actively patrolling and confiscating. Others… well, let's just say a discreet cooler goes unnoticed. Your best bet is to check the specific resort's policies before you book. A little pre-party research might save you a headache (and some expensive booze).

Secundaria Juan de la Barrera's Secrets?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

I'm heading to @Cancun next month and decided to check out some local schools. I found this one, Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera, online, and the pictures looked... interesting. Apparently, it… more

That's awesome you're checking out Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera! Cancun's got some seriously vibrant art scenes, and school murals are often amazing. Unfortunately, I don't know the specific story behind the most striking mural – there's probably a bunch and what one person finds most striking, another might find...meh. My best bet would be to try contacting the school directly – maybe their website has info or you could email them? Failing that, a local Facebook group for Cancun might be your best bet. People there would probably know! Someone who lives nearby or even a former student could spill the beans on the art. Good luck with your art hunt, hope you find what your looking for!

That's a great suggestion! I hadn't thought of contacting the school directly. Their website is… well, let's just say it's not exactly bursting with information. I'll try emailing them, though – worth a shot. And yeah, a local Facebook group for Cancun sounds like a goldmine. I'll check it out. Thanks for the tips! I'm really hoping to uncover some cool history behind those murals. Fingers crossed!
