Cancun Restaurant Recall

I'm trying to remember a waterfront (bayside) restaurant area in Cancun's Hotel Zone, a short taxi ride from the Marriott resort, near an upscale shopping area.

Sounds like you're thinking of the area around Plaza La Isla Shopping Village. Many restaurants along the canals there fit that description. A taxi from the Marriott should be quick and easy.

Relax! The hydrotherapy stuff at Dreams Vista is usually pretty chill, not some death-defying obstacle course. They're geared towards relaxation, not breaking bones. Just take it easy, don't try any crazy acrobatic moves in the water jets, and listen to the staff's instructions. You'll be fine. Seriously, protective gear is overkill. Unless you're planning on doing cannonballs off the hot tub... then maybe... but even then, I doubt it.
