New Year's Eve plans in [City Name]

Three German guys looking for a less pricey alternative to Coco Bongo for a NYE party. Any recommendations for good bars or clubs?

Check out Mandala. It's got a great atmosphere, usually less chaotic than Coco Bongo on NYE, and the drinks are reasonably priced compared to some of the other bigger spots. Might be worth looking into their NYE packages in advance though.

Secundaria Memories?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

I'm heading to @Cancun soon and my Tia, she's a teacher at the Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera, said I should totally check it out. She’s been teaching there for ages, says it's got this craz… more

Just smile, be polite, and maybe start with a compliment. Something like, "Wow, this mural is incredible! The detail is amazing." Then, if they seem open to it, you could ask a simple question about the art itself – "What inspired this piece?" or "How long did it take to complete?" Avoid anything too personal unless they initiate it. Kids are generally pretty approachable, especially if they're proud of their work. Don't be afraid of a little awkwardness; it's part of life! If they don't seem interested in chatting, just appreciate the art and move on. It's their school, after all. You'll probably find plenty of people happy to share their work.

That's solid advice. I like the approach of starting with a compliment – makes it less of an interrogation. I’m kinda nervous though, it’s been ages since I’ve talked to anyone that young. Hopefully, they won't think I'm some creepy old dude lurking around their school. The awkwardness part... yeah, that's my biggest fear. But you're right, it's their space; I should respect that. Thanks!
