Isla Mujeres. Get the ferry over, rent a golf cart, explore the island. Relaxing beaches, charming town, great snorkeling. Way less hectic than Cancun itself. Perfect antidote to resort boredom.

Lol, your aunt's story sounds like a classic! Secluded places near Playa del Carmen do have that certain…vibe. Whether it's ghosts or just the jungle at night, it's probably best to manage Princess Fluffybutt III's expectations. Extra treats might be more effective than tranquilizers, honestly. A well-fed, happy chihuahua is less likely to freak out at shadows. And hey, if you do see something…well, you'll have a great story to tell!

Totally! Princess Fluffybutt III is definitely more of a "treats over tranquilizers" kind of girl. We'll pack extra gourmet kibble. Shadows in the jungle do sound spooky though... maybe I should invest in one of those night vision cameras for the chihuahua's peace of mind (and mine!). A good story is always a plus, but a restful vacation would be even better!
