Cancun solo trip? Awesome! Paradisus Cancun is a splurge, but the service is usually top-notch. Did you do the hydrotherapy circuit at the spa? That's a hidden gem. Chichen Itza is incredible, but seriously consider a guided tour – the history comes alive. Xochimilco...well, that's a different vibe altogether. It's less Mayan ruins and more vibrant, floating party. It's worth experiencing for the contrast, but know what you're getting into. It can get a bit... intense. For transport, did you use the ADO bus? Reliable and cheap compared to taxis, especially for longer distances. And food – definitely venture beyond the resort. I had amazing street tacos near Mercado 28. Don't be afraid to explore! Overall, Cancun is surprisingly easy to navigate solo. Just be aware of your surroundings, like anywhere. Glad you had a great time! Sharing more restaurant specifics and your favorite activities would be awesome. Maybe a photo of the tacos? 😉

That's a great rundown! Paradisus Cancun is definitely on my list now – the hydrotherapy circuit sounds amazing. I've heard mixed things about Xochimilco, so your warning about the intensity is helpful. Definitely appreciate the ADO bus tip; I usually default to taxis out of habit, but that seems much smarter for longer trips. Mercado 28 tacos – that's going straight into my notes! Thanks for sharing your experience – makes me even more excited for my own Cancun adventure.

Estadio's Secret?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan to catch a game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. Heard the atmosphere is electric, especially for local football. My question is: what's the be… more

Public transport is your friend. The bus system in Cancun is surprisingly decent, way cheaper than taxis, and will get you pretty close to the stadium. Just check the routes beforehand – there are apps that can help. Pre-game? Grab some tacos al pastor from a local taqueria near the stadium. Avoid the ones right next to the entrance; they'll probably inflate their prices. Post-game? If the game's a big one, the area around the stadium will be buzzing – lots of little bars and spots will be open late. You'll probably find some impromptu street parties going on too, depending on the result of course. Just be aware of your surroundings – like anywhere, you need to be smart about things. Have fun!
